Comforting news brings little comfort
Today the economy was given another deadly blow with the release of better than expected sales figures according to this BBC article
As we know nowadays, all economic is news is bad even if its good and anything that is comforting is cause for concern.
No wonder they called it the great depression ie. a period when people cant think straight and interpret all human activity as hopeless and doomed.
I cant wait for Christmas. You know the time of seasonal sales figures, the feel good factor (lack of it) and more doom and gloom on the highstreet.
