John Prescott…still middle class after all these years?

It was fashionable back in 1997 to be New Labour and middle class. Even John Prescott, the bruiser from the left was happy to join in the fun according to this BBC article

But I wonder if now in 2008 John is still a fully paid up member of the muddle classes. We will have to watch his new series about class that starts on Oct 27 to find out. After 10 years of Cherie Blair and watching the Labour party drag itself through the mud I suspect he is now quite happy to keep a distance from the mayhem that is middle class. We shall see
